Mill Tech Industries is an innovative company providing leading-edge, high speed lumber handling equipment to the forest industry. Based out of our Salmon Arm, BC facility, we are currently looking to add another full-time person to our Parts Sales Team.

Job duties would include:

  • Adhere to and promote company safety standards.
  • Take in-coming calls and work with our customers to determine their requirements for replacement parts.
  • Provide price and delivery information to our customers in a timely and professional manor.
  • Coordinate timely cost-effective delivery of parts to our customers sites globally.
  • Build relationships with our customers to make sure we are their first call for replacement parts.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure we meet our customers expectations.
  • Work with engineering to continuously improve Mill Tech parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Training & Skill Set:

  • Technical training in mechanical design in college or university preferred.
  • Experience in Customer sales and service would be an asset.
  • Experience or ability to read technical drawings would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of data base systems and Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of sawmill equipment would be an asset.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Logistics or import/export experience would be an asset.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure.
  • Methodical, with superior attention to detail using sound judgment skills.

The position is full time with competitive pay and benefits after passing probation.
