Location: Salmon Arm, BC

Mill Tech Industries is an innovative company providing leading-edge, high speed lumber handling equipment to the forest industry. Based out of our Salmon Arm, BC facility, we are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our administration team in a full-time capacity.

Job duties would include:

  • Accounts payable/receivable administration.
  • Back-up support and coverage for general accounting.
  • Back-up support and coverage for sourcing & procuring material and components from suppliers.
  • Work with Engineering Team to distribute & maintain vendor drawing sets.
  • Booking of travel arrangements.
  • Taking incoming calls on the main business line and directing them to co-workers.
  • Other Administration Support duties as required.

Training & Skill Set:

  • Extensive experience with accounts payable & receivable.
  • Training in accounting systems & processes.
  • Strong skills in Quickbooks accounting program.
  • Purchasing experience.
  • A good listener with good communication skills.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy fast paced environment.
  • Excellent people skills, and a commitment to Team success.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working under pressure.
  • Methodical, with superior attention to detail using sound judgment skills.
  • Logistics or import/export experience would be an asset.
  • Previous experience in a fabrication shop would be an asset.
